I have a person in my life,

I find hard to take.

I have a person in my life,

I cannot easily escape.

I ask for stillness, wisdom and the strength to be kind,

To be understanding and show compassion,

 When they speak their mind.

To be able to brush away hurtful words and tones,

And lastly to remember,

I am never alone.
